All Weather Monitors
These rough duty (NEMA 6P/IP68) monitors are designed for constant exposure to the elements and are briefly submersible, not just splash-proof like NEMA 4/IP 65 displays. The anti-glare, hi-impact front glass is optically bonded to the LCD panel which eliminates any possibility of fogging. Many monitors have transflective films which assures excellent brightness in direct sunlight, but have only 350 nit or less native (backlit) brightness. They suffer from poor picture quality in shade, or overcast conditions.
